The Ramones is one of my all time favorite bands, and for this year’s Halloween song I chose to cover their song “Pet Sematary”.

Written by Dee Dee Ramone and Daniel Rey the song was composed for the 1989 film, of the same name, at the request of Stephen King who is also a huge Ramones fan. The song also ended up as a track on the band’s 1989 album “Brain Drain.”

I was fortunate to see The Ramones live in 1996 at Lollapalooza in West Palm Beach, FL. A memory It’s a memory I still hold dear in my heart.
