My new song “Melt” is a reworking of “I Melt With You” by Modern English and it took a week worth of sessions to complete. I originally intended for this to be a pure LoFi track, which is something I really want to create, but I find it difficult to keep things simple. I’m constantly wanting to add more sound. I’m happy to say that two days ago I found my next track and I think I can pull the LoFi thing off. Stay tuned. When promoting a new song means creating a new video reel. The original concept was extremely simple. I found a few raindrops on windows that I was fascinated with. But then I stumbled upon a creative film company called Cottonbro Studio which had a massive amount of great stock footage. After finding them the video took on a life of its own. The song is about love and I wanted the video to reflect that. Love between all people. Gay, straight, black, white, young, and old. Thank you to my wife, Jessyca. She is my biggest supporter, my life, my muse, and my heart. I hope whomever watches enjoys. There was many days in preparation. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
